Khato Civils (Pty) Ltd (Hereinafter,” the Company”), and, Mr. Simbi Phiri
(Hereinafter, “the Chairman”), have noted the media release by the Umbrella For Democratic Change (UDC), dated the, 21st October, 2021, widely circulated, among others, on social media. Khato Civils (Pty) Ltd, and their Chairman are disappointed that while the UDC, were offered a peace overture to retract the defamatory statements in their earlier media release, the same have maintained their poise, and made further accusations against the company. The Company, and its Chairman, maintain their stance that they will not be bullied out of the space in which they are trading, by untrue statements which have the effect of inciting public sentiment against them.
