JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to dispense fuel to all company plant and equipment in accordance with company health and safety protocols and policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dispense fuel to all company equipment and yellow plant
• Keep and maintain comprehensive records of the fuel dispensed to all company equipment
• Record all driver or operator information and mileage on the vehicle
• Ensuring that records are consistently updated and reports are given to the line manager upon request
• Adhere to company safety rules and protocols
• Prevent and report abuse of fuel by operators and drivers
• Restock supplies and keep inventory
• Work effectively and efficiently
• Monitor logbooks of each plant and equipment before dispensing fuel

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Malawi School Certificate of Education
• Certificate in customer service
• Training on Health and Safety protocols
• Training in Effective record management
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction/engineering as a Fluent attendant
• Understanding and ability to perform administrative tasks
• Knowledge and experience of fuel pumps and mobile fuel bowsers
• Have a valid driver’s license
