JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to collect, analyse and report on the company fleet and vehicle performance, fuel consumption, maintenance records and driver behaviour.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Management and Reporting:
- Collect, analyse, and report on fleet data, such as vehicle performance, fuel consumption, maintenance records, and driver behaviour.
- Generate reports and dashboards to track fleet performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Integrate fleet data with other business systems.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to fleet managers, drivers, and other stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide solutions.
- Train users on the fleet management system.
Fleet Operations Support:
- Support the implementation of fleet management strategies and best practices.
- Assist with vehicle tracking and scheduling.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and repair schedules.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with fleet management system vendors.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant degree or diploma in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience in fleet management or a related industry.
- Experience with fleet management software and systems.
- Knowledge of Safety requirements and health systems.
- Knowledge Construction regulation and Legal liability.
- Registration with a recognised professional body will be an advantage.
- A valid Driver’s licence is essential

- Strong understanding of fleet management systems and software.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of database management and system administration.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking technology and telematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced Computer and systems knowledge
- Team player
