Places and Finishes concrete.
• Mixing concrete by hand
• Checking delivery note and consistency of concrete, transporting, placing and levelling, vibrating and screeding.
• Finishing (Wood, steel, power and special application)

Organises concrete operation

• Organising vibrators, floats and rubbles
• Preparing access e.g. wheel barrow and runs and scaffolding

Complies with safety and health requirement

• Operating in accordance with safe working procedures
• Using personal protective equipment provided

Perform other duties

• Placing Screeds
• Patching & grouting
• Saw cutting

Housekeeping

• On a daily basis inspect cleanliness and general housekeeping
• On a daily basis sign off that all activities under their control is completed, the site has been cleaned and left in a safe and secure state

• ABET 3/Grade 7
• Diploma/RPL
• 3 or more years’ experience as a concrete hand .
• Understanding of site environments
• Basic Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
• Knowledge of relevant company policies, processes, and procedures.
• Experience with WTP, Water Retaining Pump stations, Resevoirs and Pipeline.
